Cooperation with Eiffel Investment Group

farma PV Projekt Solartechnik

A well-known French investment fund, Eiffel Investment Group, is joining the ranks of Projekt Solartechnik’s business partners. Project Solartechnik will use the funds raised from the bond issue to implement specific photovoltaic projects, the energy from which is contracted by PPAs (Power Purchase Agreement).

– We are very pleased to be able to support the Solartechnik Project with our bridge financing programme. The Northeast European market is a strategic region for accelerating the European energy transition, which Eiffel Investment Group is proud to support,” says Pierre-Antoine Machelon, head of the Infrastructure team, Eiffel Investment Group.

The transaction with Eiffel Investment Group will be completed in a single tranche. This financing will enable the accelerated commissioning of three more Project Solartechnik solar power plants in Poland.

– On a daily basis, we are committed to working for the energy transition. Flowing from our shared values, we are strongly convinced that the concluded agreement is the beginning of a long-term cooperation,” says Roman Pluszczew, vice-president of the management board for finance at Projekt Solartechnik.

This is the first time Project Solartechnik is implementing a bridging financing tool from a foreign partner. Previously, in 2022, the company concluded a project finance loan agreement with a consortium of banks ING Bank Śląski SA, Bank Polska Kasa Opieki SA and BNP Paribas Bank Polska SA to finance and refinance the construction costs of 140 photovoltaic farms with a total capacity of approximately 134 MW.
