We sold a 5.2 MW PV farm to KGHM company

Less than a month after Projekt Solartechnik signed a preliminary agreement with KGHM Polska Miedź for the sale of completed photovoltaic farms, the first of eight contracted solar power plants changes hands. The 5.2 MW photovoltaic farm in Zuki already belongs to the copper company.

– Less than a year ago, already during the construction of the solar power plant in Zhuki, we signed a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (cPPA) with KGHM for the supply of green energy. Today, the finished and operating PV farm becomes the property of one of Poland’s largest state-owned companies,” says Marta Rzepecka, Project Transaction Manager at Projekt Solartechnik.

The power of the Żuki farm in the Turek municipality (Wielkopolska voivodeship) is 5.2 MW. Experts from Projekt Solartechnik were responsible for its design, construction and energization. The installation is formed by nearly 10,000 photovoltaic modules of the JinkoSolar brand, inverters and transformer stations were provided by the largest global manufacturer of this type of equipment, Huawei, the cable connector for connecting the station to the power supply was provided by Elgór + Hansen.
