National Energy Summit

ogólnopolski szczyt energetyczny

The National Energy Summit in Gdańsk this year was held under the motto “Energy security of Europe – revision of the European energy policy.” Among other things, we discussed the need to increase investment in renewable energy sources, which is essential for Poland’s future and energy security. The experts also drew attention to the need to adapt the transmission networks to the growing number of prosumer RES installations and the constraints on grid development. They stressed that offshore wind farms represent a huge opportunity not only for energy diversification, but also for the development of Polish industry. The development of energy storage and green hydrogen was identified as a key element in the stabilisation of surpluses from RES, which can contribute to a more efficient energy system.
