More than 1500 exhibitors and 115,000 visitors on more than 110 square metres – these are the figures for this year’s Intersolar Europe in Munich – the world’s leading trade fair for the photovoltaic industry. During the event, the SolarPower Europe association presented a report on the global outlook for solar power from 2024 to 2028, with particular resounding words about the need to take action to develop infrastructure to support the electrification of renewable energy sources. Attention was also drawn to the dynamic development of the energy storage market, which could be a key component of the energy system in the future.
The fair provided an excellent opportunity for experts and industry leaders to learn about new solutions for photovoltaics, discuss the future of RES and discuss new projects.
