So far in 2023, as much as 7.8 GW of renewable energy has been signed with corporate buyers. This means that this year will be a record year for the European PPA market. The development of the industry was discussed at the RE-Source 2023 conference in Amsterdam, which brings together suppliers and buyers of renewable energy from around the world. This year’s edition is largely about identifying future trends and discussing long-term strategies for the procurement of renewable energy and legal changes that will facilitate corporate contracts.
The RE-Source conference is one of the largest events addressing the topic of PPAs/cPPAs in Europe. This year it was attended by more than 1,400 participants.
