The Romanian Renewable Energy Summit 2022 in Bucharest was another international conference where we had the opportunity to exchange experience, knowledge and insights on the RES industry in Europe. The event was dedicated to topics such as the challenges of the renewable energy market, legal regulations and the development and financing of PV projects in the country. During the panels, experts presented PV investment opportunities and analysed the renewable energy sector in Romania.
Currently, the Romanian energy mix is one of the most sustainable in the European Union – the area of renewable energy sources is developing rapidly in the country. Romania is another European country that has decided to accelerate its transition away from coal – according to a recently published emergency law, this is to happen by 2030, an acceleration of two years compared to the plan announced in September 2021.
