Organized by the Stanislaw Staszic University of Science and Technology in Krakow, the 2nd Distributed Energy Congress was an important reference point for the RES sector in Poland. The discussions, held on October 28-30, 2024, focused on the challenges of local energy development, investments in energy storage and flexibility services, which play a key role in improving the balance of the National Power System.
One of the most important conclusions of the congress is the need to proactively adjust energy consumption to changing market prices. Such an approach promotes the stability of the power grid, and also enables the efficient use of renewable energy sources.
